Dimanche au stade du 28 septembre de Conakry, le Horoya AC a remporté la 54ème édition de la coupe nationale de Guinée en s’imposant (1-0) face au Club Industriel de Kamsar (CIK).
Si la première période de la rencontre a débuté par une forte pression de part et d’autre, la seconde période aura vu une formation du HAC qui met le pied sur le ballon dès l’entame de la seconde explication avec des coups de pied arrêtés. C’est le cas de celui exécuté par Fodé Camara qui ne trouve pas le cadre.
La riposte du CIK ne sait pas fait attendre. Quelques minutes après le HAC a eu chaud en assistant à l’ouverture du score par le club de la cité industriel. Mais l’arbitre assistant siffle un hors-jeu alors que le joueur du CIK était bien lancé en profondeur grâce à un contre favorable.
Plus tard sur une superbe reprise de volée de Lansana Camara en plein cœur de la défense du CIK, il ouvre le score (1-0) pour le Horoya AC. Ce score ne changera pas jusqu’au coup de filet final de la rencontre.
Le Horoya remporte son cinquième trophée de coupe nationale, après les années 1989, 1994, 1995, et 1999. Pendant ce temps, après 2004, et 2006 le club de Kamsar perd sa troisième finale en 2013.
