Né à Lyon en France et originaire du Sénégal, Bouna Sarr fait partie de la colonie de joueurs comme Baissama Sankoh, Kévin Constant et autres qui ont décidé de jouer pour la Guinée aux dépens de leurs pays d’origine ou celui de leur accueil.
Le 14 août prochain, il aura l’occasion d’honorer sa première sélection avec l’équipe nationale guinéenne puisqu’il vient d’être convoqué par le sélectionneur du syli Michel Dussuyer pour la rencontre amicale face à l’Algérie.
Bouna Sarr agé de 21 ans, évolue du coté du FC Metz au sein duquel il n’a pas tardé à trouver ses marques. Formé au club, il est passé pro il y’a deux ans en signant un contrat de 4 ans. Convaincu par ses prestations, les dirigeants messins ont décidé au mois de mai 2013 de prolonger le contrat du jeune Bouna d’une année soit jusqu’en 2016.
Vainqueur de la coupe gambardella, il poursuit donc l’aventure avec son club formateur et rejoindra la sélection guinéenne en Algérie avec une délégation guinéenne qui quittera Paris le 12 août 2013.
