En cette période de trêve, l’international guinéen profite de son temps libre pour se maintenir en forme et espérer se relancer dans un autre club.
Il est depuis le 1erjuillet 2013 au stage organisé par l’UNFP (Union Nationale des Footballeurs Professionnels) en France pour des footballeurs chômeurs ou en rupture de contrat. Vingt-deux au total, ces joueurs profitent des installations mises à disposition par le syndicat des footballeurs professionnels français pour une remise à niveau.
Sourire aux lèvres, Habib Jean Baldé parle de son inscription à Pôle Emploi : « La femme de l’accueil a rameuté tout le monde. ‘Venez voir, j’ai un footballeur, j’ai un footballeur ». Des propos qui dépeignent toute l’ambiance parfois moqueuse qui règne à Léonard de Vinci.
