Le tirage au sort de la 54ème édition de la coupe nationale de Guinée a eu lieu ce jeudi 27 juin 2013 à Conakry. Il s’agit d’un tirage sous un format tout a fait nouveau.
Pour le tour préliminaire, ce sont des clubs des différentes ligues régionales qui ont été répartis dans les différentes zones. Au nombre de cinq au total, les zones ont été reparties en logeant par endroit trois clubs ou six. Les zones 1 et 4 en ont eu six et les zones 2, 3 et 5 en ont eu quatre équipes chacune. Ce qui fera au total 12 rencontres pour ces préliminaires.
Les 1/6 de finales verront l’entrée en lice des clubs de première et deuxième division excepté le L’Ashanti de Siguiri et le FC Séquence finalistes de la dernière édition et qui ne rentreront dans la compétition qu’à partir des huitièmes de finales. A ce niveau, quatre groupes ont été repartis avec dans le groupe 3 : quatre équipes, dans le groupe 4 : cinq équipes, dans le groupe 1 : sept équipes et enfin dans le groupe 1 : six équipes.
Les matchs des préliminaires et des 1/6 de finales en plus des deux équipes en panier, le tout combiné donnera 17 équipes donc un nombre impair. Il sera donc question de matchs de barrages entre six équipes qui auront remporté leurs matchs des seizièmes de finales et qui devront s’affronter pour en éliminer trois afin que le nombre total en plus du FC Séquence et de la SAG de Siguiri soit arrondi à un nombre pair qui équivaudra à 16 équipes qui joueront les 1/8 de finales.
Sur les 12 affiches des préliminaires, sept équipes ne connaissent pas encore leurs adversaires faute de retard dans les compétitions régionales qui devraient définir les représentants de chaque ligue régional.
Le tour préliminaire de cette 54ème édition de la coupe nationale aura lieu les 20 et 21 juillet 2013.
