Le sélectionneur du Zimbabwe, Klaus-Dieter Pagels et ses poulains vont tenter de défier le Syli National de Guinée dimanche au stade du 28 septembre de Conakry dans le cadre de la 5è journée des éliminatoires de la Coupe du Monde Brazil 2014. Mais bien avant cette rencontre, Pagels a donné son point de vue sur la sélection actuelle du Syli. Pour le coach allemand des Warrios : « La Guinée est une équipe très forte ». Pagels trouve que cette force de l’équipe guinéenne va motiver ses joueurs à fin de créer une concurrence entre eux : « mais c’est un avantage pour nous car nous voulons jouer contre de bonnes équipes pour créer de la concurrence dans notre équipe. Si nous obtenons un bon résultat, cela permettra de mettre mes joueurs en confiance » estime-t-il.
Dans son analyse, Klaus-Dieter Pagels reconnait qu’il ne connait pas bien la Guinée : « Je ne connais pas beaucoup la Guinée, mais lors de leur victoire 6-1 face au Mozambique, j’ai appris qu’ils ont joué avec trois attaquants » poursuit-t-il.
Avant de terminer, Klaus-Dieter a mis un accent sur Ibrahima Traoré, le joueur de stuttgart : « Ils ont également Ibrahima Traoré du VfB Stuttgart qui est très dangereux en attaque » conclut-il.
Klaus-Dieter Pagels, actuel coach du Zimbabwe n’a prit part à la rencontre aller entre les Warrios et le Syli National. Depuis novembre dernier, il remplace à ce poste Rahman Gumbo.
