Le projet a fait rêver beaucoup de jeunes guinéens qui jusque là n’ont pas encore une école de football dans leur pays, la Guinée bien sûr. Ce projet de construction de centre de formation de football qu’avait ambitionné de réaliser le président d’AMASI Ahmed Sékou Camara en collaboration avec le footballeur camerounais Samuel Eto’o fils,
tangue encore.
Depuis le mois de février, date de la visite d’Eto’o en Guinée pour ce projet, il n’y a rien ou presque rien eu dans cette affaire à se mettre sous la dent. Du coté des autorités guinéennes, c’est motus et bouche cousue.
Ahmed Sékou Camara qui est à l’initiative de ce projet confirme cette évolution latente du dossier dans les tiroirs du gouvernement guinéen. « Il y a à peu près un mois, j’ai été appelé par le ministre de la jeunesse qui m’avait promis de me rappeler dès à son retour de voyage. Nous, quand je dis nous, je parle de monsieur Samuel Eto’o et moi-même, nous sommes prêts pour ce centre de formation. Nous attendons que le gouvernement nous fasse signe afin qu’on discute » explique-t-il.
La Guinée n’a jusque là pas de centre de formation de football. Cela n’est plus une information et le recul de la Guinée sur la scène africaine s’expliquerait en grande partie par cette situation. C’est du moins l’avis de plusieurs observateurs.
La réaction du gouvernement se faisant toujours attendre, la situation fait monter Ahmed de Paris sur ses gongs. « Je pense que le gouvernement devrait se réveiller, se rendre compte de ce que nous apportons à cette jeunesse, de ne pas toujours attendre qu’on vienne derrière leur courir après pour ce qui est quand même le bien-être de la jeunesse » s’offusque-t-il.
Une chose reste évidente, c’est la nécessité aujourd’hui de trouver aux jeunes guinéens un centre de formation de football afin d’enlever le football dans la rue et le ramener à l’école. Cela se fera-t-il avec ce projet et dans les délais annoncés ? La question reste posée.
